The best performance of the AMAs was Lady Gaga’s flaming piano in a box, in my humble opinion. Worst? That was probably a tie between Shakira’s drumline, Rihanna’s wooden, Jeezy-less “Hard,” and Fergie’s sour notes.

But while the core AMA viewership was probably still giddy about all of Taylor Swift’s wins….hip hop fans were debating Hov’s very deliberate Favorite Rap Artist acceptance speech…

Which ended with: “Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t,” and a sardonic laugh.

Now I’m pretty sure Hov has repeated his line at other award shows…but is this a jab at 50’s <200k first week sales projections?

After the jump…the other “big” moment of the AMA’s was when Jennifer Lopez was dancing and slipped and fell for a split second. So friggin’ what.

I also don’t get why this guy is such a big deal…He’s got a notable look, I like the glam rock image. But this was meh…even with his simulated fellatio act.
