“I Love New York 2″ Contestant Jamal Rashead Trulove Convicted Of Murder

A former contestant on the second season of VH1’s I Love New York has been convicted of murder. Jamal Rashead Trulove, 29, appeared on the show as a potential suitor for Tiffany “New York” Pollard. He went by the nickname “Milliown” on the show, but only appeared on the first episode after he was dismissed for fighting.

Jennifer Hudson’s fiancé David Otunga also appeared on the show that season. Prosecutors in San Francisco say Trulove fatally shot Seu Kuka just three weeks after the show wrapped filming in 2007.

Trulove faces life in prison when he is sentenced March 19.
